About 220 African migrants on Monday forced their way through a barbed wire fence into Spain’s North African enclave of Cueta, clashing with Spanish police who tried to prevent them from crossing the border with Morocco. 32 migrants were taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries after they pushed their way through two gates, while three Spanish policemen were also treated. Several of the migrants collapsed from exhaustion after crossing into Spanish territory. Spain’s two enclaves in Morocco, Ceuta and Melilla, have been favoured entry points into Europe for African migrants, who either climb over their border fences or swim along their coastlines.

There was an explosion involving a PMS tanker at Kirikiri town at Apapa area of Lagos. Hopefully, no one was hurt in the incident. Emergency officials were on ground to remove the burnt vehicles involved as they were towed off the road. See pictures below;

A former Miss Finland and Miss Universe contestant has become the twelfth woman to accuse Donald Trump of sexual assault. Ninni Laaksonen, 30, told Finnish newspaper Ilta-Sanomat Trump grabbed and squeezed her behind while they were outside ahead of an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman in 2006. 'Before the show we were photographed outside the building,' she told the newspaper, about the incident that allegedly took place outside of the historic Ed Sullivan theater. 'Trump stood just caught me and shook me suddenly, pepusta.' 'Pepusta' is Finnish slang for bum. 'I don't think anybody saw it but I flinched and thought: "What is happening"?' she continued. There is currently an ongoing protest by a group of people protesting against the arrest of judges by the operatives of the Department of State Service (DSS) some few weeks back. The protest is happening at the FECT, Abuja. The group includes lawyers and those who appear to be judiciary employees.

A restaurant worker punched a female customer three times in the face during a brutal assault caught on camera. The woman is seen being held back by three employees at the taco eatery in Queretaro, Mexico, after launching a verbal tirade. One of the men pushed her to the ground, but when she got back up and confronted a kitchen worker who then hit her. Customers broke up the fight, but this led to one of the restaurant workers threatening to use a machete, according to Jose Abel Gonzalez, who posted the video online. The restaurant - called Taqueria La Guelaguetza - has sacked the employer who hit the customer and disciplined the other two over the incident on Saturday night. The cause of the argument that led to the Mexican restaurant assault is not clear.

A trekker, Muhammed Isa, 32, has once again embarked on a walk from Lagos to Abuja in solidarity with the Ali-Modu Sheriff’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) faction. Isa, who started the walk from Berger footbridge along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, told newsmen before departing at about 9.12 a.m. that youths of the party support Sheriff as the Chairman. “I am on solidarity trek from Lagos to Abuja to show my support and the support of youths to Sheriff as the authentic national Chairman of PDP,’’ he said. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that internal leadership squabbles had factionalised PDP with Alhaji Ahmed Markafi leading the other.
