The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 arraigned the trio of Omofojoye Olawale, Ganiyu Olamilekan Mufutau and Yusuf Rasaq Taiwo before Justice Oluwatoyin Ipaye of the Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja, on a five-count-charge bordering on forgery, conspiracy, stealing, issuance of dud cheque and obtaining goods by false pretence. The defendants allegedly defrauded Magenenu Global Nigeria Limited by stealing and converting to their own use, 66,000 litres of Automotive Gas Oil valued at Nine Million, Nine Hundred Thousand Naira (N9, 900, 000.00). One of the charges reads: “that you Omofojoye Olawale, Ganiyu Olamilekan Mufutau and Yusuf Rasaq Taiwo (at large) sometime in the month of January, 2015 at Lagos within the Ikeja Judicial Division fraudulently converted to your own use 66, 000 litres of AGO valued at the sum of Nine Million, Nine Hundred Thousand Naira, (N9, 900, 000.00) property of Magenenu Global Nigeria Limited...

Police in Ingobor Village, Nakuru County in Kenya have arrested a man who beheaded a 22-year-old mother of two after a fight between them on Tuesday, December 6. According to Mogoon Sub-Location Assistant Chief Josiah Rono,(pictured in the video)  the woman and the suspect – who was working as the deceased’s houseboy, were involved in an illicit affair and had fallen out on the fateful day before the 23-year-old man brandished a panga (machete) and chopped off her head.  Mr Rono said he received a phone call from a member of Nyumba Kumi Security Initiative on Tuesday 6pm , informing him of the bloody incident. The woman’s husband, a casual labourer, was away from home at the time of the incident. When Chief Rono arrived at the crime scene, he found a bloody panga placed next to the deceased. Locals from a village in Guilin, China, caught a man in the act of attempting a theft. But instead of handing him straight over to the police, the man was forced to stand in a septic tank that's filled with excrement. The shocking photos showed the humiliated man standing in the middle of the pit of excrement. The foul-smelling concoction covered him up to his chest and he attempted to hide his face while villagers took his photograph. An Ado-Ekiti Magistrate Court on Wednesday remanded one Olakunle Owoeye (32) in Prison custody over alleged rape. Police prosecutor, Inspector Bayo Ajiboye told the court that the accused committed the offence on November 29 at Ado-Ekiti. He alleged that the accused, on the said date, unlawfully helped a stranded lady,21- year-old with the intent of helping her till the following morning. Ajiboye said that the man in the midnight threatened to kill her if she refuses his advancement and throw her body away into the bush since nobody know her whereabouts. He said the accused unlawfully raped her without her consent, saying the offence contravened Section 358 of the Criminal Code, Cap C 16, Laws of Ekiti State 2012. The prosecutor noted that he had forwarded his case file to the office of the Director of public Prosecution (DPP) for legal advice. CCTV footage released by police Sarasota, Florida, shows Alan Ralph wandering the aisles with a trolley pretending to be a normal customer. But in fact he is identifying women as potential victims. When their backs are turned, he blatantly tries to look up their skirts.On some occasions he even got down on hands and knees. Police said a victim first reported his vile behaviour on October 29 in a Walmart. They later traced him to another grocery store and a sports shop and found he was doing the same thing there. Patience Jonathan, wife of former President Goodluck Jonathan, has petitioned the house of representatives over ” incessant harassment” by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). In the petition presented to the house on Wednesday by Lovette Idisi, a legislator from Delta state, the former first lady cited section 36 of the 1999 constitution as amended in saying that everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty. “This petition is in line with section 36 where every citizen is presumed innocent until proven guilty,” the legislator said. “Mr. Speaker, here is a petition on the constant harassment of the former first lady. It was sent to my office.
