A young boy who specializes in robbery was apprehended by angry residents following a failed operation in Lagos. According to a witness, Rasaq Hammed, who shared these photos -the boy stormed a residential building in their community for an operation with two other guys and were in the process of robbing and raping a housewife before the husband came in after hearing strange noises. Two of his gang members fled immediately they were caught -leaving only him to his fate. The young boy was beaten mercilessly by the mob before being taken to the police station.

Kasimu Abdulkarim, general officer commanding of the 6 division of the Nigerian Army, Port Harcourt, has denied the allegation that his men were partisan in Saturday’s election. The Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of Lagos State Police Command has discovered fake embassy operating in Lagos where many innocent members of the public had been swindled. DSP Alkali Mohammed was killed alongside two other officers during the Rivers state legislative rerun election yesterday December 10th. The election was marred by violence in some parts of the state. Five other police officers who served during the election are reportedly missing.

Minister of Environment, Amina Mohammed, is set to be named the next United Nations Deputy Secretary General. She is to serve under the new Secretary General, Antonio Guterres who will assume office on January 1st 2017. This is according to CBS's UN reporter, Pamela Falk.
