An over-speeding driver crashed his vehicle after running into a tricycle at Falomo, Ikoyi. Officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA arrived the scene to tow the damaged vehicles and rush the injured driver to the hospital.

A woman jumped out of a taxiing airplane after the flight landed at Bush Intercontinental Airport half an hour early on Monday, police say. United Airlines flight 1892 had just arrived around 1.15pm in Houston, Texas, from New Orleans when a woman is said to have gotten out of her seat, walked to the exit and pulled the hatch on the door open.  She then walked out on to the wing of the plane and jumped to the ground 15 feet below. After a moment she got up and began running toward the terminal but was caught and detained by police.  The FBI also stepped in to question her, though it was later said she was no longer in FBI custody, according to KHOU.  Passengers on the plane captured the aftermath and said the woman didn't say anything before leaping to the ground.

Over 20 suspected militants in military camouflage have swooped on Kodjo Farm, located at Igbodu, Epe area of Lagos State and abducted seven persons. The Acting Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Ekowe, Bayelsa State, has slumped and died at a hotel in Ughelli during alleged sex romp with an unidentified female teenager.The rector was said to have slumped at his hotel room in Zekoh Place located at Onoharigho street, Ughelli and was rushed to a private clinic, few kilometers from the hotel were he was confirmed dead on arrival. “He had gone to the hotel in company of a female teenager and booked a room for an hour of love session with the girl,” a source at the Ughelli Area Command told Vanguard.
