Woman Burnt By Fire While Helping Her Blind Husband In Benue State.. (Viewers Discretion)

A woman was badly burnt by fire while helping her blind husband who specializes in soap making, liquid soap in Aliade town, Benue state. The mother of two was burnt when mixing chemicals for her husband's work production at their residence on Sunday (two days ago). According to a neighbor who shared this, the blind man, Mr Moses is appealing to spirited Nigerians to assist him financially to enable the wife to access good medical attention. Due to lack of funds the wife is still at home receiving treatment from a local chemist man.

A policeman attached to the Bayelsa Police Command has shot dead his colleague over N20, 000 largesse. The incident occurred early Tuesday morning following an argument between the officers on the sharing formula. The duo went on an operation where they were rewarded with N20, 000. While the argument ensued, the enraged police officer allegedly brought out his gun and shot his colleague. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 arraigned one Abel Ovie-Sarki alongside Shelter Place Limited before Justice M. M. Kolo of the FCT High Court sitting in Wuse Zone II, Abuja on a 5-count charge of forgery and obtaining by false pretence to the tune of N32million. Ovie-Sarki who is also a principal partner of Shelter Place Limited, was arrested following a petition by Bayero University, Kano, owner of a property located at No. 23 Agadez Crescent, Wuse II, Abuja. The said property was leased through its property manager, Shelter Place Limited to ECOWAS Community Court of Justice on December 1, 2007 at the rate of N6million per annum for five years totaling N30million. A huge and growing sinkhole has opened up in a southern Japanese city, triggering a power outage. The sinkhole appeared at dawn on Tuesday in Fukuoka City, near Hakata Station, Japanese media reported. It measured about 30 metres long (98 ft), 27 metres (88 ft) wide, and 15 metres (49 ft) deep. The astonishing moment the sinkhole opened was caught on camera by a stunned bystander. Japanese news footage showed the hole swallowing an entire four-lane intersection, close to commercial buildings and shops. The prefectural government is investigating the possibility that the hole may have been caused by an ongoing construction to extend the current subway lines in the city, local media reported.

APC Legal Adviser, Banire, Steps Down Over Alleged N500,000 Bribery.

The National Legal Adviser of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Dr. Muiz Banire (SAN), who is being probed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for giving N500,000 to a judge, has stepped down. In a letter dated November 8, 2016 which he wrote to the APC National Executive Committee through the National Chairman of the party, John Odigie-Oyegun, and copied to President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, Banire said he was stepping down pending the outcome of the EFCC investigation. He said he was doing so in the interest of the image of the party.
