Father of Two Apprehended for Stealing Infinix Handset in Delta State

The members of Agbor Gha Ihun security vigilante in Delta state, yesterday apprehended a 26-year-old man and father of two who allegedly stole an Infinix Hot 4 handset. According to information learned, Augustine Ekamagule who gave his name as Frank Sunday confessed to the crime on how he forcefully took the phone from the owner along Charles Street, Agbor around 9.am in the morning. He said luck ran out of him as he was later apprehended by members of Agbor Gha Ihun. However, he promised to turn a new leaf if he is pardoned of the crime committed.

Former Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva Bags 10 years in Prison For Corruption

Ex- Brazilian president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, 71, was indicted on corruption charges on Wednesday and condemned to about 10 years in jail. He was found guilty of accepting bribes estimated to about $1.2 million from the Engineering firm OAS SA, which according to prosecutors was the amount the company claimed to have spent in refurbishing his beach apartment in return for his help in winning contracts with state oil company Petroleo Brasileiro (PETR4.SA). The judgement was a big blow to Lula, one of the nation’s most popular politicians and the front runner expected to win next year’s presidential race. He faces four more corruption trials and will remain free on appeal.

A local butcher in Kano who goes by the name AIbrahim Mai Kwankwasiyya discovered a shocking odd item in the belly of a slaughtered ram at his workplace. He took to his Facebook page yesterday to share the astonishing items found in the slaughtered animal belly. Translated from Hausa, the content of items discovered includes: Two spoons; ten umbrella head nails; two medium sized radio batteries; one traditional barber’s blade; fourteen car bolts; five pairs of keys; an average nail sized iron rod and one marker pen.

A motorcycle rider, Ibrahim Kosoko, has been killed after he was allegedly tortured by some policemen attached to the Area D Police Command, Mushin, Lagos State. It was learnt that 41-year-old Ibrahim was among nine suspects picked up by the operatives during a raid on a shopping complex at Rainbow bus-stop, Agege-Motor Road, Mushin. The policemen were said to have arrested some persons in some shops and demanded from them the whereabouts of one Ilesanmi, who was alleged to be among the masterminds of the mayhem that was created sometime in April 2017, in the Idi-Oro area of the state. The suspects, who denied knowing Ilesanmi’s whereabouts, were said to have been taken to the area command where they were detained. Nigerian Air Force Locally Reactivates Unmanned Aerial Vehicles In Kaduna. Photo

of self-reliance, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has successfully reactivated 2 Mugin Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) for the training of UAV student operators at its 401 Flying Training School (FTS) Kaduna. The repairs on the UAVs were carried out by the Air Force Research and Development Centre (AFRDC). The 2 Mugin trainer UAVs became unserviceable about 7 months ago due to inadequate spares and components thereby putting a temporary stop to the ab-initio training of UAV student operators. With the successful reactivation and modification of the Mugin UAVs, the ab-initio training of UAV student operators has resumed in earnest. Speaking today at the flagging off ceremony for the resumption of UAV flying training in Kaduna, the Chief of Logistics, Air Vice Marshal Sambo Usman, who represented the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, stated that the reactivation of the trainer UAVs would ensure uninterrupted UAV flying training by the NAF. Transgender Woman Allows Unqualified Airline Pilot Cut Off Her Testicles

An unqualified 57 years old commercial pilot, James Pennington, used a surgical blade from an army kit to remove the testicles of a transgender woman at her apartment. After the surgery James tried to stitch up the wound and told the woman’s wife to call 911 should there be any more complications. However, after the pilot left the lady started to bleed intensely. Paramedics took the patient to the Medical Center of Aurora yet court documents said the testicles couldn’t be reattached in light of the fact that too much time passed between the procedure and the lady’s call for assistance. Despite suffering “serious bodily injury”, the woman, who is referred to as Jane Doe, does not see herself as a victim of Pennington, and said he did her a “favor”.
