A US returnee, Dada Olusola Isaac, died on wednesday, at the arrival hall of Murtala Muhammed Airport, after returning from United states. The deceased arrived the country with the company of his wife, at 3;55pm, in an Emirates Aircraft. Reports gathered said the passenger was undergoing screening at the airport’s check point before he slumped. The airport officials quickly rushed him to the clinic where he later gave up. Doctors at clinic said Mr Olusola died of Cardiac arrest. The Emirate Airline’s PR is yet to be briefed on the incident.

A married Nigerian mother of two was raped and robbed by 5 young men in New York, United States. Upsetting footage has captured how children were pulled from the sea as they screamed and struggled in a migrants rescue mission. Go-pro video taken by Italian coastguard rescuers show how they raced to a crowded boat stranded in the Mediterranean Sea with at least five people thrashing about in the water. Lifebuoys are seen hurled towards youngsters wearing red-coloured life jackets as rescuers dived into the sea to help them. Footage shows more people falling into the water from the boat with screams coming from those on board and in the water. Shouts of “help, help” can be heard in the footage while coastguard officials scream “no, no, no, stay there” after some are seen jumping into the sea. The General Hospital, Apapa, Lagos State, became a centre of public attention on Thursday as residents, motorcycle riders and passersby thronged the facility to catch a glimpse of three primary school pupils, who were allegedly defiled by a security guard. The three victims, identified simply as Mistura, Yinka and Mary, had reportedly been admitted to the hospital for medical tests after the 60-year-old Togolese, Sabi Burno, was allegedly caught defiling 11-year-old Mistura in a container on Ibikunle Akintoye Street. While Mistura and Yinka attend Methodist Primary School, Randle, Apapa, Mary is a pupil of United Christian Primary School. The two schools are in the same community.
