Veteran musician Majek Fashek has blamed the Nigerian media for publicizing his rehabilitation and down times. In an interview with LIB, Majek said; the truth is I never used cocaine because it’s very expensive. but when I came back to Nigeria, the media really helped me but the made a mistake by narrating my whole story to the public. Controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has revealed shocking details of the health status of Seyilaw’s daughter, says she was born with a disability that allows her to gain weight. According to  Kemi Olunloyo , she received the details of baby Tiwa from a relative of Seyilaw’s wife in the UK. A twitter user whose husband just became a US citizen shared the mistake U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) made on the welcome letter given to new US citizens. In the welcome letter, the new citizens were congratulated by former US president Barack Obama's signature instead of current US president, Donald Trump's. She tweeted: "My British-born husband takes his oath of citizenship today. In the packet for new Americans, the welcome letter from POTUS is from Obama". According to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, roughly 200 of these letters have been sent out due to an administration error. A total of 300,000 applications for citizenship have been approved since Trump's inauguration.  Consequently, USCIS press secretary Gillian Christensen has called the mistake an administrative oversight. The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has clarified the reason why the Federal government plans to stop entertainers and movie makers from shooting movie and music videos outside Nigeria. On Saturday last week, Lai Mohammed disclosed this plan when he spoke at the Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) House in Lagos. In a recent interview with Premium times, Lai Mohammed disclosed that the proposed ban would help tackle the exploitation of perceived loopholes in the Nigerian Broadcasting Code (NBC).
