Emotional Moment Homeless Man Is Reunited With Long-Lost Son After 37-Years. PICS

This is the heartwarming moment a homeless man and his son were reunited after 37 years apart. Rudolph Taylor, 60, has been homeless or over half of his life. When he was in his early 20s, Taylor was sent to prison after being found guilty of voluntary manslaughter for the death of his brother.

He was discharged from the US army and spent five years in prison before being released early, determined to restore his image.

He now lives in a small welding shack in north Houston, Texas and sells artwork to make a small amount of money to cover food and cigarettes.

But he hasn't seen his family for more than 37 years , before the birth of his second son Kevin, apart from a brief meeting when Kevin was just three.

Soon after, Kevin and his family moved to Colorado.

He realised at the age of eight that his father was living in Houston and set out searching for him ever since.

The pair were put back in touch by KHOU News after Kevin thought he recognised his father from another news report about police officers buying his artwork.

Rudolph cried as he hugged his son, before putting on a brave face and asking his son to sit down and talk with him.
