Pretty Vegetable Seller Becomes Viral Sensation After She Was Spotted In A Market. Photos


A pretty Nepali vegetable seller has become an online sensation after photos of her went viral online. Kusum Shrestha, 18, was photographed carrying crates of tomatoes at a local market, and it has gone viral.
Miss Shrestha hails from a farming family in Bagling, Gorkha, some 55 miles west of the capital, Kathmandu.

She is studying management and was helping her parents during the holidays when the pictures were taken at the Fishling suspension bridge between Gorkha and Chitwan.

The 18-year-old told BBC Nepali she learnt of her new-found fame from a friend.

She told the broadcaster: 'My friend asked me if I am the same girl whose photos became viral on Facebook but I didn't know.

'Then she sent me the pictures and when I saw them, I found it was me. On that day, I came to sell the vegetables to help my parents. When I was on my way to sell the vegetables, RupChandra [the photographer] took my picture - but at that point of time, I didn't know that I was being photographed.'

Miss Shrestha said she was thrilled by the publicity and would jump at the chance to follow the Pakistani tea seller into modelling.

The Nigerian army said on Wednesday, that it had intercepted 37 people 37 people , who were suspected to be wives and children of the boko haram terrorists. The army spokesman, Brig.-Gen. A group of Nigerian youngsters sponsored by Lagos State Government and their coordinator, Professor Kolawole Raheem, were Thursday, received by head of unit; Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Hannu Heinonen, at Finland. The participants, whose trip was funded by Lagos State Ministry of Education, were chosen based on their outstanding performance in school. The visit, however aims at enabling the youngsters have an experience of how the Finnish society works and to offer them the possibility of bringing positive examples back to Nigeria. The participants were especially interested in matters related to environment and construction, as well as the Finnish social security and education systems. These visits that have already become somewhat of a tradition are envisaged to continue in the coming years.
