Groom Forced To Wear Gown At His Wedding Because Of His Fiancée's Weight. Photos

A woman from China, Ou Qian was self-conscious about looking fat in her wedding gown. To show his love and support, her fiancée, Wu Shuai, wore her dress to their ceremony. The unconventional wedding was held in at hotel in the Shunqing district of Nanchong city on December 10.

At the ceremony the bride, walked on stage handsomely dressed in a black tuxedo and sunglasses. Her father had died and she didn't want anyone else to walk her down the aisle.

Then the emcee introduced the groom who strutted out wearing a wedding gown and bridal makeup. The guests roared with laughter at his unusually feminine appearance and serious demeanor.

The couple met in 2011. When they first fell in love, Ou Xi only weighed 88lbs. Mr Wu was concerned that she was too skinny and helped her gain weight.

Mr Wu struggled to squeeze into a dress and had to get it specially tailored for the ceremony.

Nigerian Army Intercepts 37 Wives And Children Of Boko Haram Terrorists

The Nigerian army said on Wednesday, that it had intercepted 37 people 37 people , who were suspected to be wives and children of the boko haram terrorists. The army spokesman, Brig.-Gen. Sani Usman, said in a statement that 30 of the escapees, which comprises of eight women and 22 children, were intercepted on Tuesday at Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe. He said; “On preliminary interrogation, the suspects claimed to have escaped from Boko Haram terrorists’ custody at Kafa and Abagajiri villages in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno,’’ The army spokesman added that seven other people were intercepted on Tuesday, at Kamunya, Yobe state. “They claimed that they escaped from Boko Haram terrorists’ hideout at Goropcha village, Damboa Local Government Area of Borno. “Both sets of escapees are currently being screened and profiled,’’ he said.
