Man Stripped Naked For Snatching Woman's Handbag In Abuja....

A 32-year-old man, Bello Musa, was beaten up and stripped naked for allegedly snatching the handbag of a woman at Dei-Dei, an Abuja suburb. A witness said the incident happened after the woman alighted from a vehicle at Dei-Dei junction and tried to board a tricycle to Karmo.

He said the accused allegedly snatched the handbag and took to his heels but commercial cyclists in the area pursued and apprehended him.

City News gathered that the cyclists beat him up and stripped him naked before handing him over to vigilantes at Unguwar Saburi in the area.

Members of the vigilante confirmed to our reporter that the handbag, which contained N32,700, was recovered and handed over to the woman.

Our reporter gathered that the woman, who was a petty trader and resided at Unguwar Dawaki, near Zuba, was on her way to Karmo market to buy food items when the incident happened.
