"I Was Sent By God" -- Man Causes Stir As He Sits On Monarch's Throne In Benue

A certain Stephen Nyitse has just caused a stir at the JS Tarka Stadium in Gboko, Benue state as he walked up to the stage and sat on the throne prepared for the Tor Tiv who is yet to arrive at the venue. He told newsmen on Saturday after being caught by security operatives that he was sent by God to sit on the Tor Tiv, Prof. James Ayatse's throne.
The security operatives have led him out of the venue for further interrogation.

 Prof. James Ayatse is being coronated today as the paramount ruler of Tiv people worldwide, the Tor Tiv, V.

The venue for the occasion is already agog with at least eight governors and many traditional rulers from across the country as well as other important dignitaries including, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tambuwal.

Nigerian Army Intercepts 37 Wives And Children Of Boko Haram Terrorists

The Nigerian army said on Wednesday, that it had intercepted 37 people 37 people , who were suspected to be wives and children of the boko haram terrorists. The army spokesman, Brig.-Gen. Sani Usman, said in a statement that 30 of the escapees, which comprises of eight women and 22 children, were intercepted  on Tuesday at Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe. He said; “On preliminary interrogation, the suspects claimed to have escaped from Boko Haram terrorists’ custody at Kafa and Abagajiri villages in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno,’’ The army spokesman added that seven other people were intercepted on Tuesday, at Kamunya, Yobe state. “They claimed that they escaped from Boko Haram terrorists’ hideout at Goropcha village, Damboa Local Government Area of Borno. “Both sets of escapees are currently being screened and profiled,’’ he said.
