Activists Cover Themselves In Blood To Protest Against Consumption Of Meat. Photos

Vegan activists staged a protest in Trafalgar Square, London, against the human consumption of meat, Saturday.In the protest, some members of anti-meat groups were seen lying down covered in fake blood and plastic wrap to resemble meat sold in supermarkets.

It is part of a global call to end “speciesism” or the belief that animals do not have rights and do not need to be respected because they belong to another species.

The protest organized by Direct Action Everywhere also made a sensational headline in China.
