#ElClassico :Sergio Ramos breaks Camp Nou hearts as Real Madrid plays 1-1 with Barcelona (photos/match analysis)

Barcelona were just seconds away from recording a massive win against rivals Real Madrid in the El Classico on Saturday evening, when Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos leaped and scored at the last minute of normal time to keep up Madrid's title ambitions with a 1-1draw against Barcelona at the Camp Nou. Barca, not having the best of times in the la liga this season, scored just after the halftime break after Luis Suarez headed in a Neymar cross, but left their home supporters disappointed as Ramos rose above everyone to nod in the ball at the 90th minute after a Luka Modric free kick. It was all joy for Zinedine Zidane's men including Cristiano Ronaldo who was frustrated through out the night as he missed so many chances. Barcelona started with Ter Stegen, Alba, Pique, Mascherano, Sergi Roberto; Gomes, Rakitic, Busquets; Suarez, Messi and Neymar and had to introduce Iniesta in the second half while Real Madrid started with Keylor Navas, Carv

We have stipulated that at least 50% of the funds should be dedicated to salaries and pensions, and we will audit disbursements to ensure compliance. The Ministry of Finance is currently processing the first batch of N153 billion, which, I am told, will be released to 14 States. The Ministry will provide more details on how the funds will be disbursed and how we will monitor the utilization to ensure that Nigerians receive the full benefits from their State Governors. As I said in my Independence Day Speech, I firmly believe that this recession will not last. We should not allow our temporary problems to blind us from

Apo Six. A conspiracy of silence

The last time this infamous case of police brutality came up in court, it was adjourned to November 15. It's been over two weeks since then yet no news. It seems the country have quietly moved on from this most egregious case of extra judicial killing while the perpetrators walk free.  What's so sad about it all is that given the corrupt and inept nature of Nigeria's law enforcement agencies, such a case is likely to repeat itself and when it does we'll all be guilty because if we had seen to it that the perpetrators of Apo Six were brought to book, it wouldn't have happened again. It takes more than words to build the country of our dreams, where's the action?

Fights, red cards & end to end action as Pep Guardiola's Man City is humiliated 1-3 by Chelsea (summary/photos)

Who says Chelsea can't win the premier league this season? Chelsea proved  on Saturday  that if there's any team that deserves to win this season it's themselves as they came from behind to whitewash Man City 3-1 at the Etihad. Pep Guardiola's side, title contenders themselves, took the lead shortly before the break as Chelsea defender Gary Cahill deflected a Jesus Navas cross into his own net while Azpilicueta and Thibaut Courtois watched on. Chelsea reacted in superb fashion as goals from Diego Costa, Willian and Eden Hazard in the 60th, 70th and 90th minute ensured a great win and a great dent on premier league poster boy Pep Guardiola's title ambitions. It was also a very emotional and intense match as Nigerian star Kelechi Iheanacho almost started a fight while Sergio Aguero and Fernandinho were both sent off late on, after a dangerous tackle on David Luiz. We never know what can happen in the EPL , but for now, the sky remains blue! More photos from t
