Let me tell you a short story… You see when I got admission to study in Redeemer’s university, I was so indifferent; happy & sad.. Happy because I finally got admission, sad because we couldn’t afford a school that expensive.. I can’t drop out!! This would be a shame for me lord” these and many other thought were running through my head because it was so obvious that I could not further after my year one.. After last paper for 100l second s

Breaking News!!! PSG Forward, Angel Di Maria Has Been Sentenced To Prison (Read Details)

Paris Saint-Germain forward Angel Di Maria has been sentenced to one year in prison and will pay a £1.76million fine after admitting to tax fraud in Spain. The Argentine winger defrauded the Spanish government a sum of  £1.14million  during his four-year spell with Real Madrid between 2010 and 2014. Di Maria according to SunSports made a deal with authorities to avoid a trial at the Spanish Supreme Court – which found Lionel Messi guilty of similar crimes last year. He admitted to two separate counts of fraud – each of which will carry a six-month sentence – and will pay 60 per cent fine on top of his arrears, coming to £1.76m. The Argentinian is unlikely to spend any time behind bars as sentences of under two-years are usually suspended, providing the convicted has no criminal record. Di Maria’s charges relate to the player’s image rights with Los Blancos in 2012 and 2013. According to Madrid prosecutors, the former Manchester United star transferred his rights to an Ir

One of the Matharoo sisters wanted for allegedly blackmailing Otedola, arrested in Italy

One of Toronto’s notorious Matharoo sisters was arrested on an international arrest warrant at an airport in Italy on Wednesday. According to Italian newspaper Il Gazzettino, Kiran Matharoo was nabbed as she disembarked a flight at Venice’s Marco Polo Airport. It’s believed the bust was related to alleged sex-tortion beefs against Kiran and her sister Jyoti in the Nigerian capital of Lagos. The two selfie-loving socialites were frequent fliers on Instagram, posting their jet-setting antics in a variety of provocative poses. The duo — who grew up in Rexdale and were well-known in the Toronto club scene — have been compared to TV’s notorious Kardashian sisters because of their raunchy antics and penchant for self-promo.   Last December the well-dressed duo were jailed in Nigeria on allegations of blackmailing wealthy men with raunchy sex tapes. At one point it was estimated they had allegedly swindled 274 men. One of the alleged victims was oil billionaire Femi Otedola. Th

Agodi zoo shut down as lion kills attendant in Ibadan

An attendant at the Agodi zoo, Ibadan, Oyo state, Hamzat Oyekunle, popularly known as Baba Olorunwa has been killed by one of the lions in the facility. The development forced the Oyo State Government to shut down the facility yesterday. It also ordered immediate evacuation of the lions pending further investigations. In a statement at the weekend by the Executive Secretary, Bureau of Investment Promotion (BIP), Mr. Yinka Fatoki, the state expressed shock over the unfortunate incident. It said the closure of the facility followed reports from the company managing the zoo, AM & C, on the incident. Fatoki, in a statement by Commissioner of Information, Culture and Tourism, Toye Arulogun, expressed shock over the incident because Oyekunle had fed the lion for over five years. The statement added the deceased was known to have had a very good relationship with all animals in the zoo. The government also claimed to have visited the deceased’s family.
