If Facebook founder  Mark Zuckerberg , felt that everybody would be thrilled by the announcement of the birth of his second child, a baby girl christened August, he was mistaken. some people have used the opportunity to lambaste Zuckerberg for being “unable” to father a male child. One of such unsparing critics is a Nigerian man who goes by the name Amoo Joshua Oluwatimilehin. Oluwatimilehin, whose Facebook profile features everything except an authentic photograph, teased at the loving father: “Why do you give birth to daughters alone, no one to inherit family name and your wealth will be for another surname. Mark’s sperm is full of XX type.”

The Rock accepts Kelvin Hart challenge, donates $25k to Houston Relief and take a slight swipe at the comedian for calling out celebs

American actor, Dwayne Johnson, popularly known as The Rock, has accepted Kevin Hart's challenge by donating $25k to the Houston relief, but in the process, he took a slight swipe to the comedian for calling out celebs by name. Yesterday, Kevin Hart donated $25k and then called out The Rock, Steve Harvey, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake and Jerry Seinfeld challenging them to donate big bucks.  In his message to the victims of the Hurricane Harvey, The Rock announced he has donated $25k to the Houston Relief and his company is equally donating too. The White House has responded to North Korea's latest missile provocaation.  Monday, the Kim jung-Un led country fired a ballistic missile above Japan leaving most people in the country panicked as an emergency text message was immediately sent to most Japanese in the region. In a response, Donald Trump's White House issued a statement moments ago that reads,  'the world has received North Korea's latest message loud and clear. This regime has signaled its contempt for its neighbors, for all members of the United Nations, and for minimum standards of acceptable international behavior."

Update: Nigerian man found guilty of importing 10kg of drugs inside fish statues in Australia

Jackson Igwebuike, who is accused of importing 10 kilograms of the drug ice inside three fish statues was found guilty in Australia, today, despite maintaining he was set up by a friend. Igwebuike, 34, maintained throughout his trial in the ACT Supreme Court that he was tricked into transporting the drugs, which he was caught with while trying to board a bus from Canberra to Sydney.  Igwebuike said he agreed to deliver the fish statues to help his friend's decor business, as the friend had helped him when he came to Australia to study. But he said two men came and broke open the statues, revealing packaging wrapped in black, and demanded he take them to Sydney. He told the court the men threatened him with a gun and a picture of his wife, who was in Nigeria. Igwebuike told the court he realised what was happening but he was scared and unable to back out. Police officers find over $1,000 hidden inside man's anus

A Florida man has been charged after trying to hide over $1,000 in his anus. Pattreon Stokes, 26, was pulled over early on Saturday morning by a Marion County deputy for speeding. The deputy who pulled him over reportedly smelled marijuana coming from inside his car. A search of the car revealed that he was carrying 197 grams of methamphetamine, rock cocaine, 4 grams of heroin, a scale, a small amount of marijuana,  and a large amount of money. Stokes also had a 7-month-old child in the car at the time.  Police arrested him immediately but the biggest surprise came when they got back to the Marion County Jail and found the cash had disappeared. Stokes claimed that deputies had already collected the money, but they soon noticed that $20 bills were falling from his anus. 55 top officials affected as NNPC embarks on major shakeup

The ongoing restructuring of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC received fresh impetus on Tuesday with the appointments and deployments of top executives across the value chain of its operations. Group Managing Director of the Corporation, Dr. Maikanti Baru, told NNPC staff shortly before the announcement was made public that the new appointments would not only help to position the Corporation for the challenges ahead but would help fill the gaps created due to statutory retirements of staff. A total of 55 top management staff were affected in the exercise.   Under the new arrangement, Roland Ewubare, formerly MD of the Integrated Data Services Limited, IDSL moves to the National Petroleum Investment Management Services, NAPIMS as the new Group General Manager while Diepriye Tariah, former GGM and Senior Technical Assistant to the NNPC GMD takes over from Ewubare as MD of IDSL.
