E! Entertainment announced today that it has renewed the second season of Rob & Chyna. This will be an eight-episode season that will premiere in 2017. “Rob and Chyna’s romance struck such a chord with our viewers, who were engaged in their story even before we started filming the first season,” noted E!'s executive vp, programming and development Jeff Olde in a statement, adding: “We are excited to share the next chapter of their story.” The series, produced by Bunim/Murray Productions and Ryan Seacrest Productions, joins Keeping Up With the Kardashians and its many spinoffs on the E! sch

A Nigerian man has made the country proud in Texas, USA by setting a very high pace for academicians to follow. Dr Osato Osemwengie from Edo state has 6 Master's (MSc) degrees and is planning on continuing his 7th master degree in January 2017. According to him, he will have his 4th Ph.D. degree at University of Texas at Dallas in September 2017. Dr. Osatohanmwen Osemwengie has been an integral member of the American armed forces, building drones for the United States Army. These drones are used for surveillance to gather important information, as well as take out terrorist camps.

Anthony Martial went shopping on Wednesday afternoon as Manchester United travelled to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League. It was a day of mourning for the people of Araromi area of Ikere-Ekiti, headquarters of Ikere Local Government Area of Ekiti State, as a Toyota Forerunner sports utility vehicle (SUV) crashed into a shop this afternoon. It was gathered that a woman and her two-year-old daughter, who they said had just returned from school, were hit by the vehicle, and claimed that the girl died on the spot.  Read according to Tribune The witnesses also said that another man they could not immediately identify also died in the accident. The witnesses told Tribune Online that the Toyota vehicle with registration number: Lagos, KSF 939 FF, they claimed was coming from Ise-Ekiti, had lost control and ran through the shop attached a residential building. The vehicle had crashed through the shop and into a parked Mitsubishi Axiom car, said to belong to Mr Oluwayemi Ojo, a lawyer resident in the same Araromi area. A giant hairball weighing at least 3 kilograms has been removed from the stomach of a 14-year-old girl. Doctors believe the teenager could have been eating her hair for more than 10 years based on the size of hairball. After complaining of pains in her abdomen, doctors at the King Edward Memorial Hospital in Mumbai carried out a CT scan and were shocked by the discovery. Dr Jignesh Gandhi, who carried out the operation, said: "[At first] it appeared she had a tumour in her stomach."[But] further investigations showed that it was a huge hairball or a trichobezoar." To remove the massive tangle and ensure the least amount of scarring to the patient, doctors performed intricate keyhole surgery through the stomach. The Nigeria Army on Wednesday said it had rescued additional 605 women and children during its operation in Sambisa forest. The Theatre Commander, Maj.-Gen. Leo Irabor stated this during a press conference at the headquarters of the 7 Division of Operation Lafiya Dole in Maiduguri. Irabor said that troops on operation rescue final have continued to record remarkable progress in the fight against counter terrorism operation in Sambisa forest. He added that “69 male adults, 180 females, 227 male children and 129 female children, were rescued during the operation between Dec. 7 and Dec. 14, 2016. “The victims are in our custody for further investigation and interrogation. “On the operation, our troops are determined to wipe out the terrorists from their hideout. I can tell you that the counter terrorism operation is already yielding positive results.”

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 arraigned one Chike Akwittis alias ‘Dr Justified Isioma Nnaemeka’ also known as ‘Emeralds Chike’ before Justice Sylvanus C. Oriji of the Federal Capital Territory High Court sitting in Apo, Abuja on a 4-count charge bordering on marriage scam and theft. Akwittis allegedly entered into a fake marriage agreement with a road safety official and in the process swindled her of several millions of naira to the tune of N6.7million. The offence contravenes Section 1 (1) (a) and punishable under Section 1 (3) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act 2006. The accused was also accused of stealing $3000 (three thousand dollars) belonging to her boss’ wife, claiming that the chief priest in his village said it was a ‘spirit’ that stole the money. A young woman was forced to have her head shaved as a bizarre punishment after she was accused of cheating in her gangster boyfriend. The girl, dressed in shorts and a black top, was forced to squat and hold her head down while a man takes a set of barber's clippers to her long hair. A footage, which is supposed to act as a warning to other women, was posted online by the Brazilian drug dealing gang. It shows a chilling insight into their dark world of the drug cartel. Local experts say this type of warning punishment is common in drugs cartels across Brazil to publicly shame to anyone who breaks the rules.

A video was captured of a woman being forcibly removed from a Delta flight by police officers after she boarded without complying with boarding procedure. The Delta flight 2038, which was supposed to take off from Detroit Metropolitan Airport for San Diego, was delayed after an unnamed woman boarded without complying with boarding and baggage check procedures. According to Rene deLambert who posted the video on YouTube, the woman was loud and kept demanding for overhead bin space. Airport officials contacted Detroit Metropolitan Airport’s police department requesting for assistance in getting the woman off the plane and when the police officers arrived the woman refused to obey their polite request to leave the aircraft. This led to her being forcibly dragged by her wrist off the plane.  Delta Air Lines have confirmed the incident. In a statement to FOX 2 Detroit, the Spokeswoman for the airport said that the woman has been arrested for violation of airport regulations
