The Movement for the Actualisation of Sovereign States of Biafra, MASSOB group has threatened to bring the nation to it knees should the federal government refuse to release its embattled leader, Nnamdi Kanu. The group in a statement issued threatened to deploy civil protests in a similar manner to that which was deployed during the Ghandi of India and Martin Luther King Jr. days. The group which is demanding the release of their embattled leader in seven days or less made this known in a statement released by its Director of Information, Comrade Uche Madu, on Sunday. The statement added that MASSOB will be forced to cripple activities in the country by staging a nationwide protest sequel to that conducted by the Indigenous People of Birafra, IPOB. Uche Madu in the statement however expressed dissappointment at Igbo leaders, South-east governor and other political heads from the region for not supporting the cause aimed at freeing Nnamdi Kanu. A pilot has been filmed in shock only moments after crashing his plane. The unnamed pilot aged in his 50s was forced to crash-land his recreational plane shortly after take off near Tumut Airport in New South Wales's Riverina region on Saturday. The man is said to have experienced engine trouble soon after taking off.   A witness who rushed to the scene to make sure the plane was not on fire filmed the distressed pilot. The plane was remarkably in tact while a small patch of grass near the plane was burnt.  The pilot is reported to have suffered spinal and pelvic injuries, and was taken to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital in a stable condition.
