Lady Who Accused Nigerian Pastor Of Raping Her – Launches Foundation In South Africa.

Cheryl Zondi has launched a foundation to support women and children in South Africa.

The Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) has officially been registered and will be called the The Cheryl Zondi Foundation.
Zondi told the media that she named the foundation after herself, because of the support she received after her ordeal.
She came into the spotlight at the trial of Nigerian pastor Timothy Omotoso who is facing charges of racketeering, violating the sexual offences act, human trafficking and rape, along with two others named Zukiswa Sitho (28) and Lusanda Solani (36).
She claimed she was sexually assaulted by Omotoso as she told the court she believed God was on her alleged attacker’s side. She recounted graphic details of the sexual assault on her, allegedly at the hands of the pastor.
The senior pastor at the Jesus Dominion International Church has been in prison since his arrest in April last year.
He was denied bail twice after it came to light that he was a flight risk.
Lusanda and Zukiswa, who are accused of recruiting, grooming and monitoring the movements of girls for the Nigerian pastor based in South Africa, are out on R2 000 bail each.

Real Madrid, Croatia Star Luka Modric Wins 2018 Ballon d'Or

Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric was awarded the 2018 Ballon d'Or on Monday, becoming the first player not named Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo to earn the honor since 2007.  Modric, 33, beat out Ronaldo and Antoine Griezmann, respectively, for the illustrious prize. Both Ronaldo and Messi had won it five times apiece over a 10-year run, and all three men were named to France Football's 30-player shortlist in October. Messi's fifth-place finish is his worst since 2006 and it comes despite leading Barcelona to La Liga and Copa del Rey titles. The midfielder adds the award to his list of others accolades received this year, including UEFA Best Player, FIFA Best Men's Player and the Golden Ball at the World Cup. Modric helped Real Madrid win its third straight Champions League title earlier this year before taking Croatia to its first World Cup appearance. Croatia's captain scored two goals, had one assist and led the tournament in minutes played and mile
